Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu:
Allah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful says in His Final
Revelation (The Holy Quran) which translates near in meaning to:
"It is not righteousness that you turn your face to the East or to the West; but righteous
is he who believeth in Allah and The Last Day, and the angels, and the scriptures, and the prophets; and give wealth for love
of Him to kinsfolk, and to orphans, and to the needy, and the wayfarer, and to those who ask; and to set slaves free, and
who observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due; and those who keep their treaty when they make one, and the patient
in tribulation and adversity, and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are the Allah-fearing."
(Al Baqarah: 177)
Allah The Majestic, The Sublime also says what translates near in meaning to:
"In The Name Of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
By the morning hours,
And by the night when it is stillest,
Thy Lord hast not forsaken thee nor does He hate thee.
And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former.
And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou will be content.
Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)?
Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)?
Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)?
Therefor the orphan oppress not,
Therefor the beggar drive not away,
Therefor of the Bounty Of thy Lord be thy discourse." (Ad Duha)
Further, Abu Hurairah reported Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.) as saying:
"He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world, Allah would
alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of The Day Of Ressurection, and he who finds relief for one hard-pressed, Allah
would make things easier for him in the Hereafter, and he who conceals (the faults) of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults
in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother,
and he who treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah would make that path easy for him leading to Paradise; and those
persons who assemble in one of the Houses of Allah (mosques) and recite the Book of Allah and they learn and teach the Quran
(among themselves), there would descend upon them tranquility and mercy would cover them and the angels would surround them
and Allah makes mention of them in the presence of those near Him, and he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds, his (high)
descent does not make him go ahead." (Sahih Muslim 35: 6518)
